A Bad and Better Choice of Fast Food Breakfast Items

Yes, we know how bad fast food is for our health, but sometimes through no fault of our own, it’s unavoidable. Even so, we can look for lower calorie items. We might be able to find fruit, yogurt and eggs. If not, there are still some items on the menu that are not as calorie laden as others. We ladies have to watch our figures.

Pancake houses and Dunkin Doughnuts aren’t the only places that serves breakfast. There are others and all serve food with a high calorie content but you can save a quiet a few calories by being choosy. Sometimes you are away from home and must stop somewhere for a bite of breakfast, although It’s a better idea to have yogurt and a piece of fruit or a scrambled egg if you can get it. Here’s a run down on some of the most popular items on these fast food restaurant’s menus.

The Supreme Omelet on Croissant at Dunkin Doughnuts contains 590 calories. They also have The Supreme Omelet on an English Muffin with 380 Calories.

McDonald’s has Sausage Egg and Cheese Mcgriddle with 560 calories. They also have Sausage Burrito with 300 calories.

Jack in The Box serves the Ciabatta Breakfast Sandwich with 710 calories. They also have a Bacon Breakfast Jack Sandwich with 300 calories.

At Starbucks there’s a Raspberry Scone and Grande Latte with 670 calories. They also serve a Peachy Raspberry Yogurt Parfait and Grande Coffee with 330 calories.

Burger King has an Enormous Omelet Sandwich with 730 calories. They also have a Ham Omelet Sandwich with 330 calories.

I think it’s better to have cereal or an egg sandwich at home before you leave for work. I always get up early for work and have breakfast before I leave. I wonder how many calories are in two pancakes from Cracker Barrel?
